Taster Sessions

WHY NOT TRY SOME OF OUR FREE TASTER SESSIONS. THE SESSIONS ARE FOR PEOPLE AGED 50 AND OVER TO COME ALONG AND TRY SOMETHING NEW.

All sessions are FREE to attend. Refreshments are included and there is always time for socialising.

A Walk on the Wildside with Tees Valley Wildlife Trust Volunteers make our green places accessible and point visitors in the right direction. Take a guided walk with us to discover wildlife. Then help us clear and repair paths, steps and boardwalks along the way.

There are opportunities for everyone to help so come along to find out how you can get involved.

Find out about the founders of the town and its historical buildings before moving on to the Transporter Bridge Visitors Centre for refreshments. 40th Birthday of Captain Cook Museum The Captain Cook Birthplace Museum opened on the 28th October 1978 on the 250th anniversary of Cook’s birth. Our feathered and furry friends need us most in Winter. Come along to find out how you can help them through volunteering in green places on your doorstep and at home too. We will have tasks to suit any ability and fun craft activities.
