Please Have a Seat – list of venues

A list of places in Middlesbrough that offer a chair to sit down when you are out and about.

Our Please have a seat campaign is a really simple concept. We support local venues and businesses to be more welcoming of older people and those with mobility issues by supplying a chair for people to rest, relax and sit down.

For more information please contact our Age Friendly Officer, Anya Deputat on 01642 257034 or email

If you would like to sign up your venue please complete a form that you can find here
