Nordic Walking and a Natter

Lot’s of members enjoyed a Nordic walk and a natter

Some of our lovely members joined in a brisk Nordic walk (8th July) around the stunning grounds of Ormesby Hall. Nordic walking is a great form of exercise from your upper body muscles as well as your legs.

Here’s what our members had to say,

“ It’s great, fresh air exercise, gorgeous surroundings and a cuppa in the garden”

“ It took me a while to get my co-ordination of arms and legs working together, but once you get into the stride its really good”

“ I will be attending this on a regular basis, it’s a good way to exercise and enjoy social time”

“ Thank you Ageing Better, you have introduced me to something else I want to continue with”

Four of the ladies who attended the session have further developed their interest by completing their Nordic Walking Passport, offering ABM members half price sessions when booked directly onto additional sessions delivered by the trainer.
