Intergenerational Cooking Session

Grandparents enjoyed an Ageing Better Intergenerational Cookery session with their grandchildren on Thursday 25th July at the Live Well Centre in Middlesbrough. They made delicious homemade pizzas and butterfly cakes.

Here is what some of them said:

“ We’ve both really enjoyed it, it’s been good to be with other people and during the school holidays you are always looking for things to do with the kids”

“ Thank you, a lovely way to spend the afternoon, the kids have had a great time and can’t wait to take home what they have made for their Mam and Dad”

“ Its been fun, now we are going to have to do this more at home especially as we have been given the recipes to take away”
