A morning of jigsaws, games and fun with a friendly bunch before lunch. The session is free, but donations are welcomed for tea and coffee.

Excercise & Sport

Walking Rugby

No running, no tackling

Day: Thursday

Time: from 6pm

Rugby without the running, tackling and the mud. Great fun that is suitable for all abilities with very simple rules. The focus is on a fun and friendly experience. No specialist kit required. Trainers or walking shoes and a warm top. Wear layers because you will warm up quickly once you get going.

Harmonize Tai Chi and Qigong

Day: Monday

A gentle exercise which strengthens muscles through slow controlled movement. It calms the mind and body through a sequence of mindful movements attuned to the breath. The session combines simple, accessible forms of Tai Chi with Qigong. These complementary exercises have long been practised in China and Southern Asia for health. The benefits are becoming more recognised in the West as it is recognised that people of all ages and levels of fitness can participate. Most people comment on how they feel relaxed yet energised after a session.
