Ageing Better Middlesbrough Cafe Meet Up – Turtle Bay

Location: Turtle Bay Middlesbrough

Ageing Better's new addition to the Cafe Meet Up programme is Middlesbrough's new Caribbean Social restaurant and bar, Turtle Bay.

The staff welcome anyone 50 and over for free tea and coffee, while you enjoy a game or two of dominoes, chess and more.

Day: Monday - first in month

Time: 15.00 - 16.30

Location: Debenhams, The Corner, 1 Newport Road, Middlesbrough, TS1 1LE

On the first Monday of the month Debenhams cafe, third floor, will have a space for Ageing Better Middlesbrough members to get together. We hope this is a space for people to come together and spark new friendships.
Joanne and her team at Debenhams are looking forward to meeting members.

Please note that tea/coffee will not be provided for free by Ageing Better Middlesbrough.

Using music and movement to provide opportunities to express and interact in a friendly, relaxed environment. A mixture of old and new songs, actions, simple part-singing and stimulating activities.

The club offers you an opportunity to meet friends and widen your social life. They are a club for single people aged 40+ but are not a dating agency. People can join as temporary members for £10 for three months.

The Stephenson Locomotive Society

Day: Tuesday - third in month

Time: 19.00 onwards

Location: 

The group is a society that will give you in depth coverage of matters relating to locomotives and railway operation both old and new. Visitors are welcome. Annual subscription first year £10 subsequent years £25.

Singing for the Brain – Alzheimer’s Society. St Mary’s Church Hall

Day: Tuesday - fortnightly

Time: 14.00 - 15.30

Singing for the Brain is a stimulating group activity for people living with dementia, encouraging them to enjoy the songs of yesteryear with their carers to boost their general well-being and confidence.
You'll meet others with similar experiences in a relaxed setting. You can join in a variety of songs, as much or as little as you like. Come along and give it a try!
